Photo uploading problems have been reported in the Blogger Groups, on many occasions, over the years, although Blogger has a new, fancy notice to let you know there's something wrong. The 'notice' suggests that; "The image could not be uploaded due to an Internal Error". Now, this could either be a Blogger Internal Error, or a Blogger (human) Internal Error - namely, a full cache.
This problem seems to be spasmodic, and it's a real pain-the-you-know-where. I don't know what causes it, but it goes away if you 'Clear the Cache of your Browser'.
